Phil is that from a TV show?
the base package seems pretty ok really... plus optional ssh access
Or I might even just drop the quota down a level, with dropbox and free online storage available, you can use that to share files and just use webspace for websites.
ATM I have the 4u hosting plus plan, 1gb and 4 mysql databases. Overkill for fitzbilleh really.
4uhosting.co.uk sorry.
My webspace is up for renewal in june, I think I'll probably change, I've seen others at half the price
I use 4u-hosting.co.uk it has been solid and good, but I think it may be a bit expensive now for the amount of space you get.
I'd go for high space and lower bandwidth as unless you're making a big site you won't get many hits.
go for linux (apache) hosting, and 1 mySQL database (you rarely need more than 1) if you are making any sites with things like drupal, wordpress or joomla or any "active site" where content changes.
I liked the old srcf hosting where you could SSH directly in to the server, I don't think I have that with mine.
Sooo... I really should make myself a website, does anyone have any recommendations on hosting?
